Debi Kalman is a 1st generation American actor born in Manhattan, NY. Her parents were from Czechoslovakia and Hungary. She started her lifelong passion for acting at the age of 12. Her first gig was modeling for the Sears Catalog. At 14 she moved to Los Angeles, where her craft continued to blossom. She has studied with some of the industries great coaches/acting teachers such as Stella Adler, Jeffrey Tambor, Larry Moss, Charles Conrad, Milton Katselas, Al Ruscio, David Alexander, and Jeff Corey. During her long and varied acting career, she has appeared in over 200 commercials, print jobs, TV shows and films combined. Her first national commercial was for Pepsi; she was cast as Anson William's girlfriend. Her most notable role was that of the series regular, Lucy, in Nickelodeon's "Hey Dude." Debi's most memorable role was as Harrison Ford's wife in an ad for Japan. After placing her acting aspirations on hold to raise a family, Debi has jumped back in to the business with both feet. She just completed a SAG film called "At the End of the Day" directed by Kevin O'Brien, and before that, 3 short films, "Little Arizona", "Prodigal", and "Caretaker", all starring or costarring roles.
