An only child, Mike was born in Sha Tin, Hong Kong. In his early teens, Mike studied martial arts and did not find school particularly engaging until he began Drama class and performing in school plays. He performed in several of the theatrical productions at Byrne Creek Secondary including Charlotte's Web and Romeo & Juliet as "Mercutio".A week after graduation, Mike began studying at the New Image College of Fine Arts. Here he honed his skills tackling challenging and complicated characters in plays such as Lobby Hero, The Blue Room, and Polaroid Stories directed by Kyra Zagorsky. After completing his studies, Mike briefly worked with the UBC Players Club in their fall show Faust, and followed up with Red Square Collective's original play The Hanging Judge and web series Franklin Birch.Mike is an executive producer and writer for Fiasco Entertainment, an independent collective of filmmakers and film students who produce web series, sketch comedy, and shorts.Mike is based in Vancouver B.C. represented by MoGood Talent Management. He approaches roles as a character actor, interpreting parts through thorough accent and dialect work.
