Season 6 opens with Cheryl talking Larry into taking in the Blacks, a New Orleans family displaced by a hurricane; Larry invents an excuse for missing a party which quickly catches on.
Still, it says something about David's strong sense of what is truly funny about the human condition (and his version of himself suffering from it), that six seasons later, Curb is still ingeniously hilarious more times than not.
