We return again during the second season with Fleabag as she rejoins an uncomfortable family dinner to celebrate the wedding, where this celebration seems to have many surprises. Fleabag shares those events along with familiar faces - Claire's tense sister and her alcoholic husband Martin. It seems surprising when Fleabag finds herself intrigued by a new Godmother priest who may change things.
Happily, Waller-Bridge has toned down on the to-camera gestures, nods, winks and soliloquies that often bordered on the irritating, letting the terror unfold without the same level of fourth-wall breaking interventions.
